Two-Formed Tooth with Big Claws

Description

A Dimorphodon, bedecked in the lichen greens and bark browns so suited to the dim woodlands he calls home, adds a splash of colour his visage- peradventure an attempt to woo the ladies, or perhaps just an aesthetic desire to be something beyond vanilla. Notwithstanding he even yet is well-camouflaged as he scurries through the branches like a big-headed squirrel, swaying tail providing balance and big, sharp claws providing purchase against the oft-slippery bark.

Also I gave him fuzzy lips instead of a toothed beak. I don't understand the whole hullabaloo over lips in extinct animals lately; there is literally no reason why your average animal would NOT have had them, and Dimorphodon's closest relative that we have direct evidence for (Jeholopterus) has fluff going right down to the tip of its snoot, with no hint of a beak or exposed teeth. It's just better for the teeth that way, and it makes for a less movie-monsteresque visage- always a plus for animals that are neither monsters nor movie stars.

Drawn with a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil, coloured with Derwent pencil crayons.

I heard that Dimorphodon wasn't a very efficient flyer and spent most of its life on the ground and only flew to make quick escapes from predators like how chickens do
